Genius Billy Graham, WWE Lobby of Famer, has died at 79 years old, ‘Nature Kid’ Ric Pizazz declared on Twitter.
Graham, who’s genuine name was Eldridge Wayne Coleman, was born on June 7, 1943. His wrestling profession started in Calgary, where he prepared in Stu Hart’s Prison and worked for Hart’s Rush Wrestling advancement. He started lifting weights in his twenties prior to moving to the NWA’s San Francisco domain in 1970 and combined efforts with Pat Patterson there to work the West Coast and Hawaii.
He worked for Vern Gagne’s AWA, the then-WWWF, and different NWA advancements until the end of the 10 years. He finished Bruno Sammartino’s right around ten-year rule as Vince McMahon Sr’s. champion there in 1977, and he held the World title until Weave Backlund crushed him for it eight months after the fact. He would turn out basically for the WWF until the end of his vocation, prior to resigning in 1987 at 44 years old.
